Office Day Porter Services in NYC and Miami

A dedicated on-site attendant during business hours — restroom refreshes, kitchen tidy, guest-ready lobbies, and quick response to spills. W-2 employees, M/WBE certified.

What We Do

A day porter is a dedicated on-site attendant during your business hours — the person who keeps your restrooms fresh, your kitchen tidy, your lobby guest-ready, and who responds to spills before they become complaints. It’s how the best-run offices in NYC and Miami stay presentable all day, not just the morning after a nightly clean.

Park Slope Cleaning day porters are our own W-2 employees — background-checked, uniformed, trained by us. Same person every day, so they know your building, your team, and your standards. We assign backups so vacation days never mean an empty seat.

Common fits: law firms, financial services, executive floors, tech offices with heavy meeting-room use, medical practices, and any building with a client-facing lobby.

What's Included

  • Restroom rounds every 90–120 minutes: restock supplies, wipe counters, spot-clean mirrors and fixtures, empty trash.
  • Kitchen & breakroom maintenance: load/unload dishwashers, wipe counters, restock coffee and water, clear the sink.
  • Lobby & entrance care: vacuum entry mats, clean glass doors, tidy reception, remove trash.
  • Conference room turnover: reset rooms between meetings — clear coffee cups, wipe tables, re-align chairs.
  • Trash & recycling: pull bins from executive floors and common areas throughout the day.
  • Spill response: radio or Slack the porter for immediate cleanup — no waiting until night.
  • Optional add-ons: package handling, light dish duty, event setup, elevator button and touchpoint disinfection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What shifts do day porters work?

Standard is a full 8-hour shift (typically 8 AM – 4 PM or 9 AM – 5 PM). Half-shifts and split coverage are available for smaller offices or peak times only.

Is the porter a Park Slope Cleaning employee?

Yes. Every porter is a W-2 employee of Park Slope Cleaning — background-checked, insured, and trained on your building’s specifics. No agencies, no contractors.

What happens when the porter is out sick or on vacation?

Every day porter account is assigned a primary and a trained backup. Vacation days and sick days get seamless coverage — same standards, no gap in service.

Can the porter handle deliveries or building errands?

Yes — light package handling, mail runs to a mailroom, or coffee-order pickup are common add-ons. We keep it scoped so it doesn’t crowd out cleaning responsibilities.
