We handle vinyl composition tile (VCT), luxury vinyl plank (LVT), marble, terrazzo, ceramic, polished concrete, hardwood, and commercial carpet. Every treatment is scheduled for off-hours so your team walks in the next morning to floors that look and feel new — without disrupting your workday.
Our approach: a walk-through to assess your floor type and condition, a written schedule (daily maintenance plus periodic deep treatments), and a dedicated team that shows up the same time every week. W-2 employees, background-checked, uniformed, M/WBE certified.
What's Included
- Hard floor daily care: dust mopping, wet mopping with pH-appropriate cleaners, spot spill response.
- Buffing and burnishing: high-speed burnishing to restore shine on VCT, LVT, and polished stone.
- Strip and wax cycles: full stripping of old finish, application of commercial-grade wax (4–6 coats), typically 1–2 times per year depending on traffic.
- Carpet care: daily vacuuming with HEPA equipment, quarterly hot-water extraction, spot treatment for coffee and ink.
- Stone care: marble crystallization, terrazzo honing and polishing, natural stone sealing.
- Entry mat program: we rotate mats seasonally to catch salt in winter and rain in summer before it reaches your finished floors.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should office floors be waxed?
Most NYC and Miami offices we service need a full strip-and-wax once or twice a year, plus weekly burnishing to maintain the finish. High-traffic lobbies may need more frequent attention. We’ll recommend a schedule after the walk-through.
Do you use eco-friendly floor finishes?
Yes. Park Slope Cleaning is Green Seal certified and uses low-VOC, EPA-registered floor care products by default. We can escalate to hospital-grade disinfection when needed.
Can floor work happen on weekends or overnight?
Yes — strip-and-wax cycles typically happen overnight or on weekends so floors are dry and cured before your team arrives. We coordinate with building management on freight elevator access.
Do you clean ceramic tile grout?
Yes. Grout cleaning is included in our restroom deep-clean cycles and can be scheduled separately for large tiled areas.
